Snowy River Shire Development Control Plan

The Snowy River Development Control Plan 2013 ( DCP 2013) provides detailed guidance on the design and carrying out of development within some parts of the former Snowy River Shire. Since the adoption of the Jindabyne DCP, the Snowy River DCP no longer applies to Jindabyne (including Leesville, Lakewood and Cobbin and High Country Estates) and East Jindabyne. The Snowy River DCP continues to apply to rural parts of the former Snowy River Shire and the towns of Berridale, Adaminaby, Kalkite and Dalgety.

The Snowy River Development Control Plan 2013 does not apply to Tyrolean Stage 3. Tyrolean Stage 3 DCP Circular T2(PDF, 3MB)  applies to this area.

Circular T2 is intended to be used by landowners, the community in general, architects, town planners, engineers, building designers, council officers and councillors. It applies the principles of the Australian Model Code for Residential Development (AMCORD) and the principles of Ecological Sustainable Development (ESD) to the specific needs of the Tyrolean Village (Stage 3) to ensure that the characteristics and environmental qualities of Tyrolean Village are protected or enhanced by future subdivision and housing development.
