Community and Economic Profile
Snowy Monaro Regional Council offers access to the .id set of demographic tools. These tools are used to give an accurate and up-to-date snapshot of the community and economic profiles of the region. Please click the links below to access these tools.
The Community Profile provides demographic analysis for the region and its suburbs based on results from the 2011, 2006, 2001, 1996 and 1991 Censuses of Population and Housing. The profile is updated with population estimates when the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) releases new figures.
The Economic Profile presents economic information that enables you to describe the area's role within the broader economy, explore options for economic development and promote the area's strengths. The information presented here is derived from official sources of information (Australian Bureau of Statistics) as well as Australia's leading economic modellers, NIEIR. The latest data from each series is always presented in this site.
The Social Atlas presents demographic information in a geographical format so social trends can be linked to various localities throughout the Council area.
The Housing Monitor provides information on our population and households, including Prices & Incomes, Housing Consumption, Affordability & Availability and Housing & Approvals.
