Description of Work
The curtain took two and half years to complete. 85 men and women, along with 31 school children worked on the project. Participants ages ranged from 5 to 85 years and they were from 12 different countries. The curtain is twill, with almost every type of craft being used to get the desired effect.

Recycled materials were used. The curtain depicts Adaminaby, old and new and highlights the northern area of the Kosciuszko National Park. The background was painted by the Adaminaby Art class, sketching of the trees and scenery drawn by James Meverley. The Governor of NSW Professor Marie Bashir, officially opened the curtain on 17 May 2004.
