Description of Work
The Historic Time Walk was created as part of an Australian Bicentennial Project to commemorate the Nation's Bicentenary in 1988. Funded by the NSW Bicentennial Council and the NSW Department of TAFE, the project culminated in 40 tiled depictions of life in the region.
Historical information was supplied by the Cooma-Monaro Historical Society, who are acknowledged on the first panel. Numerous businesses, community members and organisations contributed to the project.

Aboriginals, Discovery, Squatters, Law & Order, Mount Kosciusko (previous spelling), Inns & Accommodation, Religion, Health Services, Mining, Business, Transport, Nimmitabel, Education, Bushrangers, Building, Forestry, Sheep, Wool, Cattle, Snow Sports, Dalgety-Berridale, Horses, Wragge's Observatory, Pastoral & Agricultural Associations, Trout Fishing, Adaminaby, Jindabyne, Local Government, the Snowy River March, Mountain Life Styles, Communications, Michelago-Bredbo, Armed Services, Tourism, Kosciusko National Park, the Snowy Scheme, Pioneer Women and Community Organisations.
