Australia Day - Jindabyne 2019

Applications for the 2023 Australia Day Community Grants program are open now, with Snowy Monaro Regional Council encouraging community groups and organisations across our region to apply for Australia Day event funding.

The National Australia Day Council (NADC) has $7.6 million available, with event hosts eligible for up to $20,000 to deliver inclusive events that incorporate the NADC’s ‘Reflect. Respect. Celebrate. We’re all part of the story’ branding for 2023.

Groups working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to incorporate and celebrate their local Indigenous history and culture are able to apply for up to an additional $10,000.

The deadline for applications is Monday 7 November 2022.

The National Australia Day Council (NADC)’s Australia Day photography competition will return to encourage grant recipients to capture the spirit of their community reflecting and celebrating on Australia Day.
