Bombala Landfill closed Sunday 15 September due to snowfall

Due to overnight snowfall and current weather conditions posing an unacceptable risk to staff and public safety, Bombala Landfill will be closed today Sunday 15 September 2024.

We will issue an update when conditions have improved and it’s safe for this facility to reopen.

Residents and businesses that need to dispose of waste, recycling or green waste can visit Cooma Landfill open this Sunday 15 September 2024 from 11am to 5pm.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by this unexpected closure and appreciates the community’s understanding.
