Bombala streetscape landscaping works

The Bombala community is advised that work to fix the garden beds on Maybe, Therry and Forbes Streets is scheduled to begin Monday 7 November 2022.

This work will address problems and concerns with the street landscaping, raised by the community and Council following the initial installation in 2020 as part of the Bombala Streetscape Beautification Project.

Safety barriers will be installed around each worksite as a safety measure for workers and road users.

Crews will be performing the following work:

• Removing existing soil, mulch and plants
• Asphalt drilling and installation of drainage material
• Adding appropriate soil and mulch to guarantee successful plantings

This project is expected to continue for two to three weeks, weather depending.
