Bookings now required for Council building and development inspections

As of January 2025, Snowy Monaro Regional Council requires all building, development application, road, and subdivision inspections to be booked a minimum of 48 hours in advance through Council’s planning and building team.

Administration staff accept bookings during weekday business hours through Council’s customer service line. Call 1300 345 345 or email council@snowymonaro.nsw.gov.au to book an inspection.

Inspection slots are often in high demand, so plan ahead and book your next building and planning inspection as early as possible. To assist in project scheduling, please note that Council does not conduct building and development inspections on weekends or public holidays.

Urgent inspection appointments can be requested with less than 48 hours’ notice, subject to staff availability. Additional fees may apply.
