Donations and Sponsorship funding applications open February 2024

Council’s annual Donations and Sponsorship community funding program opens for applications on Thursday 1 February 2024.
This program provides much-needed funding for local organisations and projects, supporting many smaller-scale local efforts that are often ineligible for other grant funding opportunities.
Key Dates for Donations and Sponsorship 2024:
- Friday 15 December 2023: Application documents live on Council’s website, Council service and facility quote requests open, application support service commences
- Thursday 1 February 2024: Applications open
- Thursday 29 February 2024: Last opportunity to obtain a quote or application support from Council
- Friday 15 March 2024: Applications close
- May 2024: Council meeting to select successful applications and determine distribution of available funding
Prospective applicants should note that these dates are set two months earlier in the year than application dates for this program in prior years.

Applications requesting a waiver of fees or charges associated with a Council facility or service must contact the relevant Council department to obtain a quote. These requests will receive a response within 10 business days. This quote must be included with your submission, before the closing date, to be considered.
