Don’t miss the last Sustainable Lands Project events

Snowy Monaro Regional Council in partnership with Upper Snowy Landcare Network is excited to present the final four events in our Sustainable Lands Project.
These four final events are the last in a series of 12 free workshops and field days, delivered over two years.
The project aims to help landholders better understand and apply sustainable land management principles. Experts in soil science, holistic farming, traditional land management, native plants, biosecurity, and our local Monaro Champions of Regenerative Agriculture will inspire others to adopt innovative farming and land management practices to improve their own properties and our local environment.
- Friday 21 October 2022: Gunningrah – Join owner Charlie Maslin and a crew from Mulloon to showcase well-formed weirs and learn the ways of water retention and landscape restoration on a working property
- Friday 4 November 2022: Severn Park – Join owner Charles Massy under his shade and shelter tree belts and see why they are a grazier’s best friend. Nicki Taws from Greening Australia will value add
- Saturday 26 November 2022: Native Grasslands on Radio Hill Cooma and Top Hut TSR coach tour – an eye-opening experience for graziers to witness the colours and abundant life in a grassland. David Eddy (LLS) and Friends of Grasslands will be on board
- Friday 2 December 2022: From Monaro to Mulloon and back– a full immersion all-day coach tour into waterway restoration and other beneficial landscape functions at Mulloon Creek Natural Farms
