DrumMUSTER chemical container drop-off

Do you have empty farm chemical containers lying around or piled up behind the shed? You can drop off chemical containers with the DrumMUSTER logo for recycling for free at collection centres across the Snowy Monaro.
All containers need removal of lids and triple rinsing. Containers with any kind of liquid inside cannot be accepted.
Bookings are required at some facilities. Please call ahead to arrange a drop-off at the following locations:
Bombala Landfill – 191 Bucky Springs Road, Bombala
Friday to Monday – 10am to 4pm

Cooma Landfill – 8448 Monaro Highway, Cooma
Collections held on the first Friday of every month.
Bookings are essential and can be made by contacting (02) 6452 1105.
Berridale Transfer Station – 160 Bobundara Road, Berridale
Sundays – 10am to 3pm

Jindabyne Landfill – 6013 Kosciusko Road, Jindabyne

Saturday and Sunday – 10.00am to 3.00pm

You will be provided with a receipt for your containers which meets the requirements of any quality assurance program.
If you have dangerous or other chemicals not accepted under the DrumMUSTER program, contact Council to find out how to organise safe disposal. Call 1300 345 345 or email us at council@snowymonaro.nsw.gov.au
Do not dispose of these chemicals through dumping, or leaving at a waste facility. Many old chemicals are deadly, and improper disposal can result in death or serious injury.
