Footpath construction: Townsend Street and Cobbon Crescent, Jindabyne

Work to construct new footpaths along small sections of Townsend Street and Cobbon Crescent in Jindabyne is scheduled to begin Wednesday 7 February 2024.

The estimated completion date for these works is Thursday 29 February 2024, weather permitting. Works hours for this project are between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. There will be no work on weekends or public holidays.

The scheduled work includes:

  • Construction of approximately 150 metres of new concrete footpaths
  • Ramped crossing points
  • Required earthworks

Council does not anticipate any significant disruption to residents or road users.

There will be some noise while crews are on-site, and some properties will have limited access for short, temporary periods.

Residents on Townsend Street and Cobbon Crescent will soon be receiving a letter directly from Council, with further information about this project.
