Do you have unwanted, out-of-date or leftover household chemicals from your kitchen, bathroom, laundry, garage or garden shed? Don’t leave them stored around your home – do a cleanout and dispose of potentially hazardous chemicals correctly through the Household Chemical CleanOut program – returning to the Snowy Monaro Saturday 9 April 2022.

This is a FREE service for the safe disposal of a range of common household chemicals which can harm human health and the environment if not disposed of correctly.

The drop-off point for this year’s Cleanout is:

Cooma Landfill

8448 Monaro Hwy, Cooma NSW

Saturday 9 April 2022

1.00pm – 5.00pm

You can take household quantities of the following household chemicals and items – up to a maximum of 20 litres or 20 kilograms of a single item – excluding paint, which is accepted in quantities up to 100 litres in 20 litre containers:

  • Solvents and household cleaners
  • Floor care products
