People across the Snowy Monaro rely on our local community transport service every day for their access to basic services, medical care, and other essential travel that many of us take for granted.

Volunteer drivers are urgently needed to help keep this vital community service on the road. If you can drive and can spare just a few hours a month – you can help make a difference. Call 1300 345 345 today or email council@smrc.nsw.gov.au to get started.

Even a small donation of your time will make a big difference in the lives of local people who are counting on your support.

Whether it’s helping our neighbours through bushfires and floods, or pitching in to organise the local market and country show, the Snowy Monaro community are always there to lend a hand to help each other and make this region better.

Contact us at council@snowymonaro.nsw.gov.au or on 1300 345 345 to volunteer your time today, or if you’d like to find out more about how you can do your part to support our local community.

Operating out of local service hubs in Berridale, Bombala and Cooma, volunteer drivers help transport community members to appointments across the local region, and to specialist services in Canberra and Bega.

Our community services team are ready and waiting to help you hit the road for a good cause, with all the information you need to help decide if volunteering is the right choice for you.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks for helping this vital support service in the Snowy Monaro continue its essential work.
