Interruption to Water Supply – Bombala

Residents and businesses are advised that there will be an interruption to the water supply, subject to weather conditions, to perform necessary work on local water infrastructure.

Where:            Bombala
Iris Street, Plowright Street, Rifle Range Road and Townsend Street

Date:              Thursday 30 March 2023

Time:               9.00am – 2.00pm

Purpose:         Water main maintenance

Action for residents post work:

Council aims to ensure the clarity of the water supply returns upon completion of the programmed work.

Some consumers may notice the water to be turbid or cloudy after supply has resumed. It is recommended, as a precaution, that an outside tap be run for a few minutes after the water is turned back on.

This will allow any air or turbid water to be flushed from household plumbing.
