Jindabyne Landfill Weighbridge

Residents and businesses are advised that Jindabyne Landfill and ScrapMart will be closed all day on Saturday 23 March 2024 due to road closures for the Snowy Classic cycling event.

This is a temporary disruption for this day only.

Jindabyne Landfill and ScrapMart will reopen as normal from 10am to 3pm on Sunday 24 March 2024.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by this disruption and appreciates the community’s understanding.

All other waste facilities and tip shops will be open as normal. For residents and businesses needing to access landfill or ScrapMart services on the Saturday, you can visit our other facilities across the region:

  • Cooma: Landfill and ScrapMart tip shop open from 1pm to 5pm
  • Bombala: Landfill open from 10am to 4pm, ScrapMart open from 1.30pm to 3.30pm
  • Adaminaby: Transfer station open from 10am to 3pm
