Major upgrades to Bombala’s sewer network are continuing next month, with a section of Mahratta Street temporarily closing to traffic for the construction of a new wastewater pumping station from Wednesday 2 October 2024 until early December.
The contractor will reopen Mahratta Street for the Bombala & District Chamber Market on Saturday 23 November 2024.
After the market, Mahratta Street will remain closed until work is complete in early December 2024, weather permitting.
Council appreciates the community’s understanding while this work is underway.
