Cooma residents and road users are advised that work will commence Friday 14 October 2022 on construction of School Zone Pedestrian Crossings along Mittagang Road, weather permitting.

Construction is scheduled to commence Friday morning immediately north of the junction of Baroona Avenue and Mittagang Road.

The road will be partially closed at the work site for the duration of the project, from Friday 14 October through Friday 4 November 2022, weather permitting.

While construction is underway, traffic lights will be in place for road users along Mittagang Road on either end of the worksite.

Crews will be on-site from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

A Traffic Management Plan is in place with temporary partial road closures and traffic lights signposted, along with reductions to speed limits. We urge all road users and pedestrians to follow signposted directions, and be mindful of workers and equipment on and around the roadway.

Affected residents and businesses will receive a notification letter from the contractor.
