Due to staff shortages, Nimmitabel Transfer Station will be closed on Sunday 26 January 2025.

Council’s landfills in Cooma and Bombala are open over the weekend as an alternative option for waste and recycling disposal for residents and businesses.

On Saturday 25 January, Cooma is open from 1pm to 5pm and Bombala is open 10am to 4pm. On Sunday 26 January, Cooma is open from 11am to 5pm and Bombala is open from 10am to 4pm.

Due to the Australia Day public holiday, landfills and transfer stations will be closed on Monday 27 January 2025.
