Notice of Extraordinary Council Meeting: Thursday 24 November 2022

Council advises that an Extraordinary Council Meeting is scheduled for 4.30pm Thursday 24 November 2022 at Cooma Council Chambers.

The findings of the independent Financial Sustainability Review conducted by AEC Group will be presented to Councillors, along with the results of the public consultation.

Community members can apply to speak at a public forum before the meeting begins.

This is an opportunity to make a short presentation to Councillors about the Financial Sustainability Review before the matter is considered formally during the meeting.

We have made the decision to allow a public forum – which is usually not a part of extraordinary meetings – because we recognise the importance of this initiative to our community and our Council.

Registrations to speak at the public forum close 5pm Monday 21 November 2022.

This meeting’s business paper will be available later this week on our website.

Community members are encouraged to tune in to the live webcast or attend in person.
