Resignation of Councillor John Castellari

On Sunday 25 September 2022, Councillor John Castellari tendered his resignation from Snowy Monaro Regional Council.

Cr Castellari served on Council for five years across two terms and was an advocate for community initiatives, reconciliation, the environment, and chaired numerous committees.

“I am grateful to the community and to Council staff for the support over the years I was a Councillor and my best wishes to candidates in the countback,” said Cr Castellari.

Mayor Narelle Davis expressed her appreciation and gratitude to Councillor Castellari for his service and commitment during his time on Council.
