Rolling waste facility closures in Bredbo, Nimmitabel and Cooma

Due to staff shortages, the following closures will occur at waste facilities today, Friday 8 November 2024 and Sunday 10 November 2024.

Friday 8 November closures

  • Bredbo Transfer Station
  • Cooma ScrapMart

Sunday 10 November closures

  • Cooma Landfill
  • Cooma ScrapMart
  • Nimmitabel Transfer Station

The ordinary opening schedule for all three of these facilities will resume from Monday 11 November 2024.

Patrons affected by these closures can visit our website to find their nearest alternative waste facility https://qrco.de/wasteinfoSMRC ­– or contact our waste team by email at council@snowymonaro.nsw.gov.au or phone 1300 345 345.

Council appreciates the community’s patience and understanding during these service interruptions due to staffing shortages.
