Short road closure in Cooma on Vale Street tomorrow, Thursday 18 July

Residents, businesses and road users are advised that a section of Vale Street in Cooma will be temporarily closed tomorrow, Thursday 18 July, to allow for urgent water infrastructure repairs.

The closure will affect Vale Street between Denison Street and Egan Street from 9.30am to 12pm.

Council's water and wastewater team needs to carry out critical maintenance work to fix a damaged water service line. The repairs involve upgrading and rerouting the line around a large tree that has caused the damage.

The 9.30am start time will help minimise disruption during the busy morning period.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes during the closure and to follow all signage and traffic control measures in place.

Council appreciates the community's patience and understanding while this essential work is carried out.
