Council will be on-site at the Claypits carpark from 9am on Wednesday 11 December 2024 for temporary repair work on eroded sections of the popular foreshore access road and parking area.
The Claypits will be closed to all vehicles while these repairs are underway. Weather permitting, work should be complete by Friday 13 December 2024. We will advise the community in a follow-up notice if there are any changes to the schedule.
Thank you for your patience during this temporary disruption to parking at the Lake Jindabyne foreshore.
These essential repairs will improve access for the local community ahead of increasing visitor traffic these holidays. A long-term fix for erosion problems at the site will follow in 2025, at a date to be confirmed in the new year.
